1. Who we are
Seller and platform operator: DIGIDENT LTD, company number 17055539, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: digidentAI@proton.me.
2. The service
The Cabinet of Curious Studies supplies independent online cultural-learning courses, assessments and certificates of completion. Course descriptions, estimated study time, prerequisites and prices form part of the contract.
3. Award status
Certificates record completion of the stated internal programme. They are not degrees, regulated qualifications, academic credit, professional licences or evidence of fitness to practise. The platform does not use the protected title "university" and does not claim endorsement by a public body, museum, source institution or awarding organisation.
4. Purchases and access
Prices are one-off amounts in GBP. No subscription is created. A single-level purchase unlocks that level after payment confirmation; intermediate and advanced study remain sequential even when already purchased. A pathway purchase supplies all three levels, with later levels opening after the preceding certificate is earned.
5. Immediate digital supply
At checkout you may expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that beginning digital supply can affect the statutory cancellation right. We also provide a contractual 14-day refund route where no level has been completed and no certificate has been issued. This additional policy does not limit statutory rights where content is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
6. Assessment
Module checks and final assessments are open-book unless stated otherwise. The pass mark is 70%. Failed final assessments may be retaken without an additional fee after the revision step is acknowledged. We may invalidate attempts affected by automated answering, account sharing or manipulation of the service.
7. Accounts
You must provide accurate account and certificate information, protect your password and notify us of suspected misuse. Purchasers must be at least 18. Access is personal and may not be sold, shared or used to reproduce course content.
8. Intellectual property
Course text, assessment design, visual presentation and original diagrams belong to DIGIDENT LTD or their stated licensors. Source links identify external material, which remains subject to its own terms. Limited quotations and personal notes are allowed for private study; systematic copying, scraping or republication is not.
9. Cultural and safety boundary
The courses examine historical beliefs, folklore, art, testimony and evidence. They do not provide religious authority, medical or mental-health advice, dangerous ritual instruction, zoological certification or a basis for harassing individuals or communities.
10. Availability and liability
We use reasonable care to maintain access and preserve progress. Planned or unavoidable interruptions may occur. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect business loss or decisions that treat a completion certificate as a regulated credential.
11. Complaints and governing law
Use the support form first so we can investigate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
